In the history of development of the general relativity, spherically symmetric space-time metric have played a very significant role. Spherical symmetric is often assumed when seeking exact solutions to Einstein field equations (EFE) of a matter distribution.

The field equations uced to non-linear partial differential equations. Various approaches have been followed in seeking solutions to these equations, assumed functional form of the metric coefficients which enabled to solve the field equations to give a wide class of solutions.  This seminar is presented by Dr. Mahmood Khalid Jasim.
