On Thursday 30^th January 2014 the Department of Foreign Languages, College of Arts and Sciences, began delivery of its new, Ministry of Higher Education approved, MA programme in English Language – the first of its kind in the area. Fifteen students are currently enrolled on the programme, and our first cohort come from all over Oman, and include practicing teachers and translators. The course can be taken full-time or part-time, and the part-time programme lasts for two years. There are 3 tracks: Translation, TESOL and Literature. The programme is great value for money and a convenient way to develop expertise and knowledge while still at work.
