The Center for Human Resources Development aims at finding suitable training opportunities for students from various higher education institutions to equip them with necessary hand-on experience that they will require in their future career. The center links between the major and knowledge of the students with suitable on-job training opportunities. It coordinates with university's administrations and departments to determine students' requirements.

On-Job Training Objectives

1. Boasting understanding and collaboration between the university and other educational institutions.
2. Participating in qualifying students to bear the responsibility and enable them to gain experience.
3. Deepening students' understanding of their theoretical knowledge and link that to reality.
4. Preparing students to deal with different social groups as per the work requirements.
5. Developing interpersonal skills.
6. Instilling work ethics, practices and punctuality.
7. Boasting student confidence in executing some tasks.
8. Helping students in discovering potentials, opportunities and weakness though dealing with real-life situations.

Training Period

Training period is determined as follows:

1. As per department and administration needs. The period is arranged with the students before the start of the training.
2. By the period set out by the dispatching party if the training is a course requirement. It must not be more than two months.
3. Training period may be extended as per the trainee/college/department need.

Procedures:

1. Training application is submitted by the dispatching party if the student is still undergraduate. The curriculum vitae must be attached. If the student has already graduated, he must submit statement of degree completion and the curriculum vitae.
2. After getting the final approval from the Center, the student must sign a training agreement.
3. A copy of the training agreement along with the evaluation form must be submitted to the training instructor before the start of the training.
4. The trainee must return to the Center after the completion of the training to receive the training certificate.
