Physics is the most highly developed of the natural sciences. For this reason, it is frequently taken as the example of the scientific method, the model for other quantitative sciences. Those trained in physics are found in many occupations. A higher degree opens the possibility of creative research in industry, or teaching and research in colleges and universities.

Objectives of the Section

• Have flexible degree plan aimed at Omani job market needs
• Have a quality education of international standard
• Have a two minor degree plans, Medical physics and Laser Physics
• Diversify the skills of our graduate
• Widen employment opportunities for our graduate
• Have a degree plan to make transition to industry easy
• Give students the option to take any approved university minor
• Expose students to other fields of specialization through university approved Minors
