Dr. Jashim earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Sultan Qaboos University, Oman 2018, and his M.S. and B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh 2005. Before joining the University of Nizwa, he worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Texas State University, USA, and also served as an Assistant Professor at the International Maritime College, Oman, under the National University of Science and Technology. Additionally, Dr. Jashim was an Associate Professor at Daffodil International University, Bangladesh, and contributed as a visiting faculty member at Sultan Qaboos University. His research focuses on mathematical modeling in Nano-Fluidic and Micro-Fluidic Phenomena, Magneto-Rheological Fluids, Heat and Mass Transfer, and Transport in Porous Media at the Pore-Scale.
