Dr. Mustafa Malik is an Associate Professor of Management at the University of Nizwa, Oman. He has over 20 years of teaching experience in the areas of Management, Business Administration, and Tourism and Hospitality Management. He joined the University of Nizwa in 2011 and is presently working as Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Studies and Quality Management Officer in the College of Economics, Management and Information Systems, at University of Nizwa since October 2017. As Assistant Dean his role includes overseeing the implementation of various teaching and learning related policies and guidelines in the College as well as development of new academic programs, revision of existing academic programs, implementation of quality teaching and learning process, conduct of academic assessments etc. As Quality Management Officer he has been actively involved in the preparation of and overseeing the progress of the College during the University of Nizwa’s institutional accreditation process. Dr. Malik is actively involved in research and has published several papers and book chapters in reputed indexed journals and books. He has presented his research in various national and international conferences. Dr. Malik has also completed several funded research projects. His research interest areas are tourism and community development, sustainability, higher education management, and organizational behavior. Dr. Malik received his Ph.D Degree in Commerce and Master’s Degree in Tourism Administration form Aligarh Muslim University, India.
