- Internet Technology INFS103، The course focuses on the general structure of the Internet and the different component that constitute its building blocks. Next, most important internet service, which provide the underlying structure of today’s web site; client-side scripting language-which enables web site developers to greatly enhance the end user’s experience.
- Introduction to Computer in Business INFS141، This course provides an introduction to business computer systems. Topics include functional components of Computers, Hardware and Software overview, Application Software (Word Processing, Spreadsheet and Database), Business Presentation Techniques, Email and Internet. This course deals with various Networking Technologies and Operating Systems trends. The students also will learn various new technologies in relation with Internet and web based applications. It provides more information about various system and Application Software use and requirements in business organizations.
- Systems Analysis and Design INFS204، It demonstrates the tools and techniques in order to develop practical analysis and design of an Information System followed by the descriptions of the system. The process is considered from vague systems conceptualization using soft systems techniques through a process of refinement and verification to a `Unified Modelling Language` based specification. It examines the role of analysis and development in various systems development life cycles. MS Visio will be applied as a tools all design and analysis.
- Digital ForensicsINFS408، In this course students will learn digital forensics fundamentals, policies, procedures, and mechanisms. Identification and interpreting electronic data. Data models, concepts and mechanisms for software, hardware and operating systems. Host forensics, network forensics and media forensics. The processes of uncovering and interpreting electronic data. To generate and preserve evidences in its most original form while performing a structured investigation by collecting, identifying and validating the digital information for the purpose of reconstructing past events. In addition, the basics of physical security, incidence response, disaster recovery, business continuity, and forensics.
- Emerging Environments in Information Systems INFS402L، This course is a survey course on the fundamental concepts and principles that underlies current and emerging methods, tools, and techniques for the cost-effective engineering of high-quality software systems. It is concerned with different aspects of the software development, from system specification to maintaining the system after it has gone into use. This includes technical processes of software development and the development of tools, methods, and theories to support software development. The course focuses on surveying some of the critical aspects of software engineering such as identifying appropriate design techniques, employing effective verification and validation strategies throughout the software development lifecycle, software maintenance, and software project management.
