Ebru Eylem Geckil-Maroney has been working as an EFL instructor for 18 years. Before working at the University of Nizwa, she worked at Bahcesehir University for 4 years, and at Atilim University for 2 years in Turkey. She has been working at the University of Nizwa for 9 years. She received her BA degree from Anadolu University and an MA degree from Gazi University in English as a Foreign Language Teaching. She also has a DELTA diploma (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages) from Cambridge University.
