Asst. Prof Dr. Waleed bin Khalid Al-Rajhi, the Dean, Deanship of Planning and Quality Management, UoN delivered a health lecture at Al-Madda Mosque in Nizwa on April 7, 2023.  His informative talk was on the topic "Prevention of Kidney Failure". In his talk Dr Waleed introduced to the audience the functioning of human kidneys and its role in regulation of various parameters such as blood pressure, activation of vitamin D, controlling salts, production of hormone that stimulates red blood cells, and maintenance of the acidity in the blood.
