On Monday 23rd June Level 4 students of the Foundation Institute with their teacher Miss Petra paid a visit to the University of Nizwa Eco House. As the student book units in their English classes covered the environment, design and sources of energy, it was the perfect fit for them to investigate these topics further with university's own award winning building. Mr Asad Rabea Al Kindi, the Head of the Green Renewable Energy Unit, kindly demonstrated all the features of the house and even made time for the students to interview him about their chosen research topics. All conducted in English, the students demonstrated their confidence with the language, tackling new challenges and their readiness for entering their major next year.
