Dr. Ahmed Al Kindi works in the field of Computer Science and specializes in Performance Optimization, Performance Prediction and Parallel Processing.
Prior to his current position, he worked in technical, administrative, academic and research posts in both industry as well as higher education since 1987. His career includes four years in Gulf Air (Bahrain), eighteen years at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), and two years at the Higher College of Technology (HCT).
At HCT, Dr. Ahmed served as Professor and Head of Information Technology Department. Previously, he worked at SQU in various administrative and academic positions including Computer Center Director and Assistant Professor.
Dr. Ahmed obtained his Bachelor`s degree from the University of Miami, USA, his Master`s from the Florida Institute of Technology, USA, and his Doctorate from the University of Warwick,UK.

Dr. Arockiasamy Soosaimanickam
Dr. Arockiasamy’s main expertise and research interests are in the field of Image Processing and Data Mining. He is currently working on Performance optimization of Image compression Algorithms and also the implementation of data mining algorithms in Business oriented applications. He is also currently working on the Research Projects approved by TRC of Oman and the University of Nizwa. He is a recognized 'PhD supervisor' of several Universities.
Dr.Arockiasamy joined the Faculty of University of Nizwa in 2007. Prior to his current position, he worked at a college affiliated to Bharathiar university since 1990. He was a Professor and Director of Computer Science and Applications department for 18 years. He was also the chairman for a Computer Society of India, Coimbatore Chapter during the year 2006-07 and also a recipient of Chapter patron award.
Dr. Arockiasamy obtained his Master’s degree from Bharathidasan University, MPhil and his Doctorate from Bharathiar University, India. He is currently the Assistant Dean for Training and Head of the Department of Information Systems.

Dr. Mustafa is working in the areas of Tourism and Sustainable Development, Tourist Consumer Behavior, and Marketing of Tourism Services. He has been teaching Tourism Management courses for past seven years.
Dr. Mustafa received his Ph.D. degree in Commerce (Tourism Management) from Aligarh Muslim University (India) in 2004 and Master degree in Tourism Administration (MTA) from Aligarh Muslim University in 2001. He has also Qualified UGC-NET examination in Tourism Management in 2004. He is two times recipient of University Medal from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) for securing 1st position in B.SC (Hon’s) 1999 and in MTA 2001.
