Dr. Arockiasamy Soosaimanickam Head Dr. Arockiasamy’s main expertise and research interests are in the field of Image Processing and Data Mining. He is currently working on Performance optimization of Image compression Algorithms and also the implementation of data mining algorithms in Business oriented applications. He is also currently working on the Research Projects approved by TRC of Oman and the University of Nizwa. He is a recognized 'PhD supervisor' of several Universities. Dr.Arockiasamy joined the Faculty of University of Nizwa in 2007. Prior to his current position, he worked at a college affiliated to Bharathiar university since 1990. He was a Professor and Director of Computer Science and Applications department for 18 years. He was also the chairman for a Computer Society of India, Coimbatore Chapter during the year 2006-07 and also a recipient of Chapter patron award. Dr. Arockiasamy obtained his Master’s degree from Bharathidasan University, MPhil and his Doctorate from Bharathiar University, India. He is currently the Assistant Dean for Training and Head of the Department of Information Systems.

Prior to his current position he worked in administrative posts in government and banking sector during the period between (1986 - 2003). Then he joined the Open University of Sudan since 2003 up to Aug, 2016. His career include head of management section, Coordinator of Business Administration Programme (July 2007 – March 2011) , Principal (Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs) (March 2011- August 2016) During his working in higher education he teaches Management and accounting courses for both undergraduate and Post – Graduate Studies. He participated in instructional designing of (16)textbooks in management and accounting to be in line with open and distance learning. He is Co-author of 4 books in Arabic language (- Advanced Management Accounting, Financial Data Analysis,Quantitative Methods and Project Management and appraisal). Also he supervised more than (30)researches for higher diploma and Master degrees in field of management and accounting.
Dr. Sanman Jain Nellikar, research focuses on the “Capital Market Functioning and Governances in different Countries Worldwide”. Contributed in the Research work on functioning of SEBI and published a book on “Evaluation of Functioning of Securities & Exchange Board of India”. He has contributed in Editing and Referencing of the book on “Regional Economic Engagements and the Free Trade Agreements: Analytical Insights and Policy Options”. He is Member of "Case Research Society of India", and Member of Review Board, “Business & Management Quarterly Review (BMQR) ISSN: 2180-2777. Dr. Sanman Jain N. received his Ph.D. degree in Commerce from University of Rajasthan, in 2005, MBA (Finance) from Mangalore University, and M.A (Economics). He has done his FDP on “Case Writing and Case Analysis” in IIM Ahmedabad. He was working at Shobhit University, India; and is joined the faculty at the University of Nizwa in 2012.
