A delegation from University of Osaka from Japan visits and gain experience from the Dhad Institute.A Japanese delegation from university of Osaka have made a special visit to the Dhad Institute for TASOL in university of Nizwa, to learn about the offered programs and the activities and events were also presented by the institute to the students. The Japanese delegation headed by both professor, Vucuda from the college of higher studies of foreign languages and their cultures in Japan and Abdulrahman AlSharqawi co-professor in the department of Arabic language in the university of Osaka with Dr. Mohammad alSaqri- director of educational program department in the college of Sultan Qaboos to teach Arabic to non-native speakers and Dr. Ghassan bin Hassan Alshater- director of the Dhad institute and the dean of Arts & sciences college acting at the University with the administrative staff of the institute. The visit by the Japanese delegation was aimed to enhance communication and to create a strong relationship between the Dhad institute and the college of higher studies of foreign languages and their culture in Osaka University. The Japanese delegation, whom expressed their admiration to the institute and its role in spreading Arabic language around the world, listened to the director of Dhad institute with a detailed explanation about the Institute and the purpose of its establishment, orientation, academic and training programs as the language partner program which has an active role in the Institute in order to create a suitable environment for students in the Arab and Omani culture in particular. Dr. Ghassan confirmed that the Institute was aimed to strengthen channels of communication between international universities in order to provide visions and aspirations to contribute to the building and development of the Arabic language and to communicate with governmental and private institutions to build a strong relationship that contributes to the love of learning the Arabic language and to send a group of students and promote dialogue programs between INSTRAW and universities. In addition, the Director of the Institute said that the Institute is a unique experience in the preparation of non-Arabic-speaking students. Today, the institute is considered as a high level of performance and efficiency, and the Institute teaches more than 25 countries from around the world. This is a positive indicator that enriches the increasing interest of the countries of the world in learning Arabic.
